Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone holds talks with delegates aimed at attracting companies to the business park.

Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) on Thursday held talks with delegates from South Korea and India aimed at attracting addition investment to the business park from the two countries.

Companies from both South Korea and India are keen to tap into the massive growth Gulf economies are currently experiencing and Jafza is marketing itself as an ideal location for firms to base their regional operations from.

The delegation included Korean International Trade Association Chairman Choo Chin-Woo and K.S. Money, President of the Treated Foodstuff and Agricultural Products Import Development Agency of the Indian Ministry of Agriculture.

Ibrahim Janahi, Jafza Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales, said in a statement that the free zone “is set to be the trade portal for the whole Gulf region and is regarded by our customers as the ideal place for expanding their businesses to the Middle East, Africa and South Asia”.
