Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), which currently hosts over 30,000 companies from over 100+ countries, is teaming up with the Department of Economic Development of Ras Al Khaimah (DED) to enhance business services provided to companies in the emirate.
As part of the agreement, DED will support RAKEZ in extending its suite of value-added services, including corporate bank account opening, corporate tax filing, and accounting and bookkeeping services, to RAKEZ’s network of clients.
The initiative is a strategic move to ensure that enterprises have access to the tools and resources they need to optimise their operations and maintain regulatory compliance. By leveraging each other’s strengths, RAKEZ and DED aim to foster an environment where businesses can flourish in a competitive marketplace.

DED is the regulatory department responsible for Ras Al Khaimah’s economy and sustainable development.

RAKEZ offers a wide-range of solutions for businesses, including free zone and non-free zone licences, customisable facilities, and services provided in a one-stop shop. It has specialised zones that are tailored to specific needs of investors – Al Nakheel and Al Hamra Business Zones for commercial and service companies; Al Ghail, Al Hamra and Al Hulaila Industrial Zones for manufacturers and industrialists; and an Academic Zone for educational providers.
