The UAE has launched a unified Work Bundle, a single platform for all companies to streamline all services to hire and renew employees’ visas.
The procedures of five federal and local authorities have been combined in one platform.
The“Work Bundle” aligns with the “Zero Bureaucracy” aimed to simplify government procedures and provide proactive services. Dr. Abdulrahman Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the Government of the United Arab Emirates, said that the platform will end red tape to attract startups and entrepreneurs
The initiative has been announced with the presence of directors of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, Ports Security, Dubai Health, and the Department of Emiratisation. Economy, tourism, and Digital Dubai, in order to facilitate the exchange of data between them through unified mechanisms.
During the press conference at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, details were revealed of the new work package that was launched to reach zero government red tape and facilitate procedures for companies, owners of startups, and entrepreneurs
The new package services are currently available on the Invest in Dubai platform and will be available within a few weeks in all the emirates of the country, allowing companies to use them to complete transactions quickly, including payments using their Emirates ID for verification and providing great facilities that embody the speed of digital transformation in the Emirates.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said that the announcement reflects the UAE speedy digital transformation in order to attract companies to come to the UAE.
