American actor Amber Heard appears to have deleted her Twitter account just a week after her ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk, snapped up the social media site for $44bn.

Her account, @realAmberHeard is no longer active on the social media platform, although it is unclear when it had been deactivated.

Amber Heard still has accounts on Facebook and Instagram, but has not shared publicly as to why she left Twitter.

Amber Heard’s final tweet, posted on the social media platform back in June, was a statement about the outcome of the weeks-long defamation trial brought against her by her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

Elon Musk and Amber Heard dated briefly between 2017 and 2018.

Musk is likely to have bigger concerns that the Twitter whereabouts of his ex-partner as he faces a massive decline in revenue and the legal ramifications of firing up to half his workforce.
