Dubai-based contractor Drake & Scull has said that the civil engineering arm of its international construction business signed a US$122.5m deal in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia.
The company did not specify the nature of the project, but said that it would start on site immediately and work was set to be completed by December 2014.
It added that the contract win provided further evidence of the success of its diversification strategy and that Saudi Arabia was now the firm’s biggest new market by value.
