Roses may not live forever, but thanks to London-based firm The Forever Rose, some can live for three years.
The firm sells roses which live up to three years without the need for water or sunlight.
The rare type of roses were first discovered by farmers in volcanic fields in Ecuador where they sprung and outlived other flowers.
Now available in the UAE with shops in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, The Forever Rose sells a single rose at a starting price of AED 550.
It is mostly famous for its Bella Collection, which houses flowers in a glass container inspired by the one projected in the Disney classic, The Beauty and the Beast.
A single rose from the collection sells for AED 1,000 including the container. The roses are available in 18 different colours including black, blue, emerald, and red.
The firm also sells regular garden roses as well as chocolates and perfumes.
