Arab National Bank selects GXS solution

Arab National Bank (ANB) has announced the implementation of GE Global eXchange Services (GXS) applications to simplify the transfer of electronic documents.

Arab National Bank (ANB) has announced the implementation of GE Global eXchange Services (GXS) applications to simplify the transfer of electronic documents between itself and partner banks. The system includes Saudi*Tradanet and Application Integrator that are a transaction engine and a mapping and translation tool respectively. ANB hopes to be able to speed up the transfer of electronic documents, make them more easily translatable and give them a consistent format. In addition, ANB has established a single secure connection to the GXS transaction management infrastructure (TMI) to exchange business documents with more than 750 cities in 58 countries around the world.“We are pleased to be given this opportunity to work with the Arab National Bank and simplify the way they process secure transactions with their correspondent banks around the world,” said Ali Saleh, GXS country sales manager, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.“With the provision of these services and solutions, the need for multiple connections for the banking network is negated, enhancing productivity and saving money in the long run,” he added.Ahmad Ashgan, general manager of IT at ANB commented: “GE Global eXchange Services offers global expertise and proven technology to help us communicate with our partners very cost effectively.”
