ExecuJet Middle East, part of the global ExecuJet Aviation Group, today announced the expansion of its fleet in the region, with the addition of two leading-edge aircraft – the Bombardier Global Express and the Pilatus PC-12.The aircraft, to be delivered to the aviation services company’s headquarters in Dubai International Airport over the next few weeks, provide ExecuJet’s diverse Customer base with a range of new flight opportunities, and doubles the company’s overall charter passenger capacity.’Our new airplanes offer our Customers a wider range of executive travel options and increase the level of flexibility we can offer them,’ said Horm Irani, Managing Director, ExecuJet Middle East. ‘Progressive organizations can no longer afford to stick to the limited options provided by traditional commercial aviation – they need aviation services that offer intercontinental and intra-regional travel options, with the level of efficiency, privacy, and comfort that modern organizations expect in every other aspect of their activities,’ added Irani. The new airplanes add an extra dimension to the company’s robust product offerings within the Middle East, where it already operates a Bombardier Learjet 60 mid-size business jet and a Challenger 604 wide-body business jet. The new Global Express will be the largest business jet that the company manages in the region. ‘The Global Express is an ultra long-range, high-speed business jet, capable of supporting groups of up-to-sixteen business passengers, and ideally designed for long haul flights across and outside of the region,’ commented Irani. ‘Following ongoing dialogue with our Customers this year, we recognized there was strong demand for a business jet of this size and passenger capacity in the Middle East, and realized the strong business case for making this investment.’ ExecuJet’s Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 integrates a single turboprop engine into an aerodynamically advanced airframe, and provides executive-level transportation in spacious, pressurized cabin comfort. The plane is ideally suited for ‘special mission’ aviation offerings, such as medical evacuation and oil spill prevention. ‘Aviation is a rapidly-growing area of interest in the Middle East, and more and more businesses are looking for services that can enable their frequent-flying managers and sales representatives to travel faster, with a wider choice of destinations and on a timetable of their choosing,’ commented Irani. ‘By expanding our fleet with these two very different and top-of-their class aircraft, we’re ensuring that organizations can enjoy on-demand, direct flights both within the Middle East, and to international destinations outside of it.’
