Riyadh based Hoshan Company Limited aims to make a big splash at Gitex Saudi Arabia this year as it showcases its wide range of office products and services. The company offers a diverse selection of office equipment and furniture, along with voice and data communication solutions, IT products and value-added after sales services. It operates 21 sales outlets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in addition to 27 service centers.
The company firmly believes in the importance of Gitex Saudi Arabia and will be occupying a larger amount of floor space than last year. “This year, we are going to go very strong in Gitex Saudi Arabia by having two separate stands with a total area of over 300 square meters,” explains Iftikhar Ahmad Awan, office products division manager, Hoshan Company Limited. “Last year, we won a deal from the Saudi Ministry of Education and it is believed to be one of the largest digital copier contracts in the world. The economy is strong, which is helping in the growth of our business and we expect further expansion of market,” he adds.
The company also plans to highlight its recent appointment as a distributor for Konica Minolta products, while also highlighting its new line of large format colour solutions. “On one stand, we will mainly display the multifunction products of our new distributorship with Konica Minolta Business Technologies, while the remaining area will be allocated towards a mix-up of Sharp office products,” says Awan.
Some of the new products in the spotlight will include Konica Minolta’s Magicolor 5430DL colour laser printer, which is aimed at small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs). It is capable of printing 20ppm (pages per minute) in monochrome or colour. Hoshan also offers a range of large format printers such as HP’s Design Jet 4000, which provides users with an inkjet speed of 1.5 mpm (square meters per minute).
