King Charles III hosted royal family members and senior leaders from across the Middle East at a VIP function ahead of his coronation in London.
A formal celebration and symbolic ceremony will see King Charles become the 40th reigning monarch of the UK since 1066.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, on Saturday, attended an official reception hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
Sheikh Mansour conveyed to King Charles III the greetings of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his best wishes for further progress and prosperity for the UK and its people.

Sheikh Mansour also extended his congratulations and best wishes to King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
He affirmed the keenness of the UAE’s leadership to further strengthen the historical relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom for the benefit of both countries.
Sheikh Mansour pointed out the significant role played by the late Queen Elizabeth II in strengthening the longstanding friendship that brought together the United Kingdom and the UAE since the era of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and which was further consolidated during the era of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Deputising for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, a Minister of State and Cabinet Member, attended the reception ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Prince Turki conveyed the greetings and congratulations of King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to King Charles for his coronation.
King Charles expressed his thanks and gratitude King Salman, the Crown Prince and for Prince Turki’s attendance of his coronation, which reflects the deeply rooted historic relations between the two Kingdoms.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani attended the reception ceremony.
The Emir and Sheikha Jawaher expressed warm congratulations to King Charles III and Queen Camilla, wishing them success, and the relations between Qatar and the UK further development and growth.
Charles III expressed his thanks and gratitude for the feelings of mutual friendship, looking forward to strengthening the historical relations between the two countries.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, accompanied by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the reception at Buckingham Palace in London.
King Hamad exchanged cordial talks with King Charles III on the depth of the robust long-standing friendly relations between the two royal families and countries, affirming the steady growth of the historical ties between the two kingdoms across various fields.
Bahrain’s King expressed pride in the role played by Charles III in consolidating the flourishing bilateral relations for the benefit of the two countries and their people, wishing him abundant health and happiness to continue leading his country’s progress march.
Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met the UK Royal at the reception. He delivered the best wishes of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
He also recalled the UK’s special status to Kuwait’s leadership and people, congratulating the king on the occasion and praising his role in strengthening bilateral relations.
The king in turn thanked the Kuwaiti Crown Prince on the gesture, which he said reflected the depth of ties between the two countries.
