Saudi Arabia has issued 1,238 international investors with Premium Residency (Investor Residency) visas, according to Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih.
The announcement was made at the 28th World Investment Conference held in Riyadh from November 25 to 27. The conference serves as a global platform for dialogue among leaders and major investors worldwide.
Highlighting its importance, Al Falih stressed that Premium Residency plays an important role in attracting foreign investments by streamlining processes for investors and increasing their access to the Kingdom’s lucrative opportunities, in the process boosting Saudi’s position as an attractive global investment destination.
Premium Residency in Saudi Arabia
Al Falih further noted that Premium Residency strengthens the Kingdom’s investment ecosystem by attracting investors from different economic sectors, enabling them to capitalize on competitive benefits.
It also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the national economy by generating employment opportunities, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge and exchange of expertise.
The Premium Residency Centre offers seven types of residencies:
- Special Talent Residency
- Gifted Residency
- Investor Residency
- Entrepreneur Residency
- Real Estate Owner Residency
- Limited Duration Premium Residency
- Unlimited Duration Premium Residency
They give holders numerous benefits, including the right to conduct business, live in the country with their families, own property, travel to and from the Kingdom without a visa, and invite relatives to Saudi Arabia, as well as benefits facilitated through partnerships with government entities.
