10 to try: latest additions to Dubai’s dining scene
It seems like a new restaurant pops up almost every day, we’ve gathered some of the best new outlets

nRussia’s restaurant tycoon Arkady Novikov has already had success in London and Moscow and now he's looking to Dubai. If you want Asian cuisine that competes on the level of Zuma and Nobu, Novikov is the place to try.

3. Nusr-Et:
nThis steakhouse from Turkey is a must-try. Not only does it have the best steaks in the city (it’s founded by butcher and meat specialist Nusret Gökçe) it’s also staged in a glass room filled with plants. The best part? Delicious complimentary baklava with ice cream.
nLocation: Four Seasons Hotel in Jumeirah.

4. Catch:
nA piece of New York in Dubai, the Big Apple favourite opened its first Middle Eastern branch earlier this year. While its food portions were a bit small for our taste, its dessert menu and ambiance are worth it.

5. Crab Tavern:
nThis American-style seafood restaurant mirrors its name. It resembles a wooden, cozy tavern that overlooks view of the Dubai Marina.

6. Coya:
nIf you want good Latin American food with great Latin American ambiance, Coya is your choice. The London-based brand serves traditional-to-the-core Peruvian dishes.

7. Spirito:
nThis recent addition to Dubai’s Brazilian restaurant scene is the perfect choice for classy, after-work drinks. Though the bright blue and red graffiti offer a modern edge to the place, its large chandeliers give it a regal feel. Basically, it feels like you’re sitting in your lavish, yet hip, living room in Rio.

nDubai’s latest beach club is not just a beach club; it’s an atmosphere of F-U-N. How would you like to sunbathe to sundowner music followed by dinner with the Burj Al Arab as your view?

10. The Black Lion:
nAnother inspiration from New York is this vintage-y gastro-pub. Unlike the dressy scene of Catch, The Black Lion is motivated by the city’s speakeasy culture. Another perfect location for after-work drinks or a casual afternoon.
