Saudi citizens can invite multiple guests at the same time on a personal visit visa, according to the Ministry of Haj and Umrah.

As part of its Vision 2030 and plans to increase the number of foreign visitors, Saudi Arabia’s citizens can invite visitors on a personal visa.

Saudi citizens can submit a request for a personal visit on the official visa platform and apply for a visit request by logging in through the eVisa platform and filling out the data for the invitees.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that a citizen can request personal visit visas more than once for several guests at the same time.

Last month the ministry of foreign affairs announced that personal visit visa holders will be allowed to travel across the Kingdom, as well as perform Umrah, visit Makkah and Madinah, in addition to visiting religious, and historical sites, and take part in sports and cultural events.

Guests need to pay fees and medical insurance after filling out the visa application form online and must submit the application and passport to the Saudi embassy or consulate in the country where they reside, or through accredited centres.

Once the invited guest receives their passport with the entry visa, they can enter KSA through air, land and sea routes.

The ministry also said that inquiries about submitted applications can be made about the submitted applications through the inquiry icon on the visa platform.

The Ministry of of Hajj and Umrah identified the following benefits to Personal Visit Visas

  • Citizens can apply for several guests at the same time
  • Visitors can enter Saudi Arabia once or multiple times
  • Visitors can stay for up to 90 days
