The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 211 new cases of Covid-19 in the country, after carrying out in excess of 46,000 tests in the past 24 hours.
The total number of Covid-19 cases detected in the UAE now stands at 56, 922.
New daily data also revealed that a further person had died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 339 deaths in the country since the outbreak of the global pandemic.
According to information released by the ministry an additional 352 patients recovered over the last 24 hours bringing the total number of recoveries up to 49,269.
Globally more than 14.3 million people have been infected by Covid-19, a little over 602,000 have died, while 8.04m people have made a full recovery.
