The UAE’s Ministry of Health announced 271 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, which brought the overall total number of cases to 57,193.
One patient has died in the last 24 hours as a result of Covid-19, bringing the UAE’s virus death toll to 340.
The ministry said 352 patients recovered from Covid-19 since its last update, which meant that a total of 49,621 people have now fully recovered from the virus.
The latest updates come following over 27,000 tests carried out across the UAE. The country’s health officials have carried out 4.5 million cases since the outbreak of the virus.
In the Middle East, the novel coronavirus has killed 23,017, from 1,010,923 cases.
