Dubai’s Palladium to undergo $100m revamp

Multi-purpose venue will be revamped to host concerts, conferences, banquets and weddings.

The Lebanon-based Pragma Group of companies has announced it is to embark upon a $100m redevelopment of the Palladium venue in Dubai Media City.

The multi-purpose venue will be revamped as an entertainment centre, the group said, and host concerts, conferences, banquets and weddings.

“Pragma Group is all about opportunities,” said Joe Tabet, chairman of Pragma Group. “We have built a smart and successful business by using both hard facts and intuition to seek out the best opportunities on offer, the UAE’s Palladium being a great example of this philosophy in action.”

The group has operations in Beirut, UAE, KSA, Syria and Jordan, and the Palladium will join Lina’s Cafe, The 400 Nightclub, Boho Cafe, Epicure Catering, Le Talleyrand Restaurant, Health Factory and Cavalli Club in Pragma Group’s portfolio.
