Dubai South Properties has awarded an AED150 million contract to Al Turath Al Aseel Contracting for the construction of South Living Tower, a luxury apartment development in The Residential District of Dubai South.
The project, launched in June 2024, is set to be completed by Q1 2027. It will comprise 209 units, including studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as special-terraced units.
“The demand for residential apartments at Dubai South has been steadily growing over the past few years. Following the announcement of the new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport in April, we witnessed a notable surge in interest for housing, reflected in the higher sales and rental values for residential properties in Dubai South. At Dubai South, our mandate is to contribute to the government’s vision of attracting one million residents to Dubai South once the airport is complete,” Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties said.
The development will feature amenities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, multi-purpose room, children’s library, yoga deck, and landscaped gardens.

Dubai South’s Residential District currently houses over 25,000 residents and offers various amenities, including parks, sports courts, retail shops, a hypermarket, a mosque, and a petrol station. A GEMS Founders School opened in August, subject to KHDA approvals.
The development aligns with the government’s vision to attract one million residents to Dubai South upon completion of Al Maktoum International Airport.
