The UAE mall sector got a new addition today, with the official opening of Sharjah’s Union Mall, which specialises in construction and interiors products.
Located alongside the King Faisal Street in Sharjah, the 130,000 square foot complex will offer a range of building and interior design materials, such as ceramic and granite, glass and aluminum, sanitary products, floor and ceiling materials, wall papers, lighting equipment and doors and stairs.
“Union mall is a unique mall model, bringing more than 60 specialized showrooms under one roof,” said Mohammad Abdallah Al Omran, founder of MA Al Omran Group, which operates the new mall.
“According to a series of recent surveys, the building and construction sector in the UAE and the Middle East has begun to swing back to vibrancy, with 1600 projects returning to activity in the UAE alone,” he added.
