Maquet, a provider of products and services for operating rooms (OR) and intensive care units (ICU), has opened a regional sales office at Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (DuBiotech). The office will cover the six GCC countries, as well as Egypt, Iran and Yemen.
“The launch of our regional sales office in DuBiotech emphasises Maquet’s strong commitment to the Middle East region in general and the Gulf states in particular,” said Thomas Schneider, director of international business, Maquet. “We firmly believe that proximity to our customers and business partners will enable us to better understand the needs of the local market.”
Maquet, based in Rastatt, Germany, is a provider of medical systems focused on the operating room (OR) and intensive care unit (ICU). Amongst its key products are the Magnus OR table and transportation system; the Powerled surgical light and the Modutec / Alphaport ceiling service units. The company also offers critical care products such as ventilators and a range of cardiopulmonary products for secure open-heart surgery.
