Reportage Properties has announced the start of construction work on its Diva project on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The project – which will add 736 new housing units with prices starting at AED510,000 – is planned to be finished and handed over by the last quarter of 2024.
It is one of 12 real estate estates being developed by Reportage Properties in the UAE, providing about 6,000 homes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in addition to a project that has already been handed over in Masdar City.
Islam Ahmed Suleiman, CEO, said that the company’s sales exceeded AED812 million during 2020, a growth of 125 percent compared to 2019, despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that sales have topped AED1 billion in the first eight months of 2021 compared to AED488 million in the same period last year.
Suleiman said he has seen high demand for the Diva project which will also include a swimming pool, a gym, an area for pets, a giant chess stage and an outdoor area.
He added that the real estate market in Abu Dhabi is “robust”.
