The UAE has announced the petrol prices for January 2025. The fuel prices will remain unchanged from the month of December.
In December, petrol prices were at the lowest in 2024 following a reduction in the cost of Super 98, Special 95 and E-Plus 91. Diesel prices saw a nominal increase.
From January 1, the cost of filling up vehicles in the UAE will be:
- Diesel: AED 2.68 a litre
- Super 98: AED 2.61 a litre from AED 2.74
- Special 95: AED 2.50 a litre from AED 2.63
- E-Plus: AED 2.43 a litre from AED 2.55

In January 2024, E-Plus 91 was priced at AED 2.64 a litre, while diesel was set at AED 3 a litre.
With the latest price cut, E-Plus 91 is now cheaper (at AED 2.43 litre) than at the start of the year.
Special 95 and Super 98 are also less expensive now than at the start of the year, falling from AED 2.71 to AED 2.50 a litre and AED 2.82 to AED 2.61 a litre respectively.
