Dicom to kick off print roadshow

Distributor Dicom is going on a roadshow in the MEA region to promote scanning and capture technology.

Distributor Dicom is going on a roadshow in the MEA region to promote scanning and capture technology.

The ‘Up2Date with Scanning’ tour for customers and partners will take place in May and stop in the UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.

The topics to be addressed during each show include: evaluating document scanner needs; document scanner features and benefits to the capture process; and software for the capture process.

Dicom said the roadshow would focus on developing a better understanding of the technical jargon associated with the advanced features of high-end scanners.

“I think a lot of our partners and customers get tied down with acronyms, features, functionalities and are unable to focus on their needs. This roadshow is focused on alleviating many of these questions,” said Lars Jeppesen, managing director of Dicom.

Print vendors, including Böwe Bell & Howell, Fujitsu, Kodak, Visioneer and Xerox, are sponsoring the roadshow.
