Virtual reality art exhibition in Dubai Mall announced by ftNFT

Virtual Reality Art by Aimi Sekiguchi will be exhibited at the ftNFT Phygital Space in Dubai Mall from May 12 until June 11.

VR Art has been gaining attention recently by being able to create art experiences through the fusion of digital technology and fine arts.

Aimi Sekiguchi is a an artist in the VR industry and utilises visual expressions and interactive elements to create unique art pieces.

Sekiguchi has collaborated with various luxury brands and companies in Japan and the Japanese government. She has also participated in events including GITEX, CES and World Skills, showcasing live painting and artwork. She also made it to the Fobes Japan 100 People list in 2021.

As an artist, Sekiguchi has always show interest in incorporating cultural exchange into her art in Web3 and the metaverse.

At the exhibition set to take place in Dubai Mall this week, she will showcase her work that combines the physical and digital world.

Visitors at the ftNFT Phygital Space in Dubai Mall will allow visitors to experience VR and AR through tech devices and view glasses free 3D displays, only available in limited countries.

Additionally, visitors will be able to experience a live painting show by Sekiguchi.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Sekiguchi’s VR art will be sold in the form of NFTs and physical art, starting on May 26.
