Dubai hotel courts rich and famous

Management of The Monarch Dubai says 236-room hotel will become a favourite with international jetsetters.

Kuwait-based Refad Hotels maybe keeping tight-lipped about the finer details of its forthcoming “premier luxury hotel” in Dubai, but it has guaranteed the property will become a regular haunt of the “rich and famous”.

“While it is targeted at business and leisure travellers primarily, The Monarch Dubai is also expected to become a favourite with celebrities who demand a very high standard of service,” said general manager Henning Fries.

He promised that the 236-room hotel, which is being built at 1 Sheikh Zayed Road would provide “a discreet and intimate level of service equal to that found in the most prestigious hotels worldwide”.

“This is what makes one hotel stand out above all others,” he said. “The ability to make every guest feel personally at home and to remember their individual preferences from visit to visit has become the benchmark by which all fine hotels are judged.”

Fries said The Monarch Dubai will open later this year with a “very select number of guests” invited to experience its “superior service” from as early as this month.

“Naturally, the very high levels of service have to be matched by the quality of the surroundings, and The Monarch Dubai will feature only the best,” he added.

Refad Hotels & Resorts currently operates five international properties but a further six are under construction. Under ambitious expansion plans, the company plans to acquire 30 new properties over the next five years.
