Expo City Dubai is gearing up to welcome UAE residents and visitors for a month-long celebration of the holy month of Ramadan with Hai Ramadan event.
Packed with cultural experiences, family-friendly activities, and delectable iftars and suhoors, Expo City Dubai aims to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all during the Holy Month.
All visitors can take advantage of the immersive projections at the Al Wasl Plaza, as well.
“The arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan fills us with a sense of anticipation and joy as we get ready to celebrate this time of reflection and gratitude. Expo City Dubai’s family-orientated Hai Ramadan will bring together people of all nationalities to our community-focused city to commemorate some of the Islamic world’s most notable traditions,” Amna Abulhoul, the Executive Creative Director of Entertainment & Experiences at Expo City Dubai said.
Younger visitors will be enthralled by Expo City mascots Rashid and Latifa, who will take center stage in the theatrical show Quest to find the moon at Al Wasl Plaza.
Additionally, immersive workshops and games designed to teach the values of Ramadan, such as kindness and compassion, will encourage children of all ages to embrace the spirit of the holy month.
Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in a wide array of delectable food and beverages available across the site.
Over 20 outlets and food carts will offer iftars, suhoors, and Ramadan treats. For those looking for a unique experience, specially curated corporate iftars will be available, starting at AED275 per person.
The scenic Surreal water feature will host iftars open to everyone, with prices at AED220 for adults and AED95 for children aged 6-12 (children aged five and under can enjoy the iftar for free).
Family-friendly iftars can be enjoyed at the newly opened Oasis Food Hall, with prices starting at AED150 for adults and AED90 for children aged 6-12 (children aged five and under dine for free).
In addition, Al Wasl Plaza Café will offer a special iftar and suhoor menu.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a lively souk, where they can find handmade crafts, traditional garments, and Ramadan-themed items.

Children can take advantage of the Grandmother’s Supermarket or Dukan Yadoo, where they can purchase candy using tokens obtained from a traditional Floos Bank.
Magic Planet UAE will also provide an arcade gaming experience for children.
Hai Ramadan will take place daily from 5 PM to 12 AM. Entry is free for guests with iftar and suhoor bookings, while general admission is priced at AED20 per person (children aged five and under enter for free).
Tickets will soon be available for purchase on the Platinumlist website and at the venue.
