IHG Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of a brand new Palm Jumeirah property, VOCO Dubai The Palm, the brand new beachfront hotel is an addition to the brand’s extensive portfolio of 6,000 hotels around the world.
The property features 138 hotel rooms, located on the West Beach side of The Palm. A rooftop pool, lounge bar and all-day dining venues are accessible to guests at the hotel.
The hotel uses a sustainable water system, recyclable plastic duvets and aerated showers to reduce water usage.
“Welcome to a boutique-styled premium hotel at an iconic lifestyle destination, by the beach,” the hotel website reads.
Last year, IHG Hotels & Resorts reaffirmed its commitment to expand its brand portfolio across Saudi Arabia.
With a current pipeline of 28 hotels, IHG said it plans to add over 10,000 rooms to the kingdom’s supply in the next 2-3 years.
