Jebel Ali International Shooting Club has re-opened its five-lane pistol range.
The air-conditioned 25m range, fitted with bullet proof panels, is controlled by a central computer, which automatically positions targets between 3m and 25m.
The club has a range of competition semi-automatic pistols and revolvers available, including .22, .38 and 9mm calibres.
Club general manager Reda Attallah said the club offered professional coaching for individuals and groups, with beginners given additional instructions in safety rules and safe gun handling.
“Inside the shooting club a Cintetronic Firearms Simulator room gives beginners the opportunity to be safely introduced to the art of aiming and shooting,” he said.
“A detailed computerised report of the shooter’s reaction speed and decision-making accuracy is produced after the sessions.”
Attallah said the club was a suitable venue for people at a beginner level through to professionals.
“The Jebel Ali International Shooting Club is hoping to attract sports enthusiasts, individuals who enjoy recreational shooting and organisations or companies who want to organise incentive trips or team-building activities or further group activities for their staff,” he said.
