New York’s iconic dessert stop Magnolia will open the doors to its latest home at The Beach, JBR this Thursday, October 16, it was announced this week.
Personlised cupcakes will be on offer along with their freshly baked dessert selection, which includes their red-velvet cheese cake (our favourite choice) banana pudding, apple crumb pie and much more.
Currently the bakery chain has locations in Abu Dhabi’s The Galleria, Dubai Mall’s Bloomingdales as well as branches across Lebanon, Qatar and Kuwait.
Its infamous cupcakes gained instantaneous world recognition when they were featured on the TV show ‘Sex and the City’, followed by the movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
From its inception in 1996, Magnolia Bakery has been cherished for its classic American baked goods and vintage décor. Its first location opened on a quiet street corner in the heart of New York City’s West Village.
Since Magnolia Bakery CEO Steve Abrams stated that he has plans to open approximately three stores a year, its first non-US store opened in Dubai in 2010 and according to the company’s website, two more locations are currently launching in Tokyo and Moscow.
