Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai said via X – formerly known as Twitter that he was “optimistic about a new Middle East,” following Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s interview with US television channel Fox News.

“I watched the interview of my brother, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on Fox News. The interview showcased the remarkable achievements of the kingdom and the clarity of his vision,” Sheikh Mohammed said on X.

“We are optimistic about the success of the kingdom under his ambitious and enlightened leadership. We are also optimistic about a new Middle East through the cooperation of its countries, aiming to reclaim their global civilisational and economic status.”

On Thursday, Arabian Business reported that the Saudi Crown Prince revealed that Saudi Arabia is making progress towards normalising relations with Israel.

He also discussed several global issues, as well as his interactions with US President Joe Biden, as well as the kingdom’s relationships with China and Russia.
