Middle East resellers from five countries last month attended the sixth annual channel conference of NEC CI and the first BinTec Regional Conference in Limassol, Cyprus.
The three-day event was held between February 17 and 19 under the banner ‘Spreading Your Wings’. According to organiser Interfrontiers the conference brought together resellers from 14 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and channel partners from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait and Egypt.
“The NEC CI strategy for 2004 is based on bringing high tech, value-added solutions to the region covered by Interfrontiers”, said Lenia Lacovides, managing director, Interfrontiers. Partners attending the conference were offered a schedule of conferences and presentations covering NEC CI’s experience and knowledge of information solutions, networks and high technology products.
In addition to NEC related discussions, partners were also introduced to BinTec Access Networks, the German IP solutions provider that was recently added to Interfrontiers’ portfolio.
NEC CI has been operating within the region for just over two years. Interfrontiers meanwhile is the Regional Business Development Unit for NEC and Packard Bell in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Middle East and Africa.
