PrimaJava Softech, previously known as Yogi Java Softech, yesterday introduced Nitix, a product it describes as the world’s first ‘autonomic’ server operating system.
Based on the Linux kernel, the company says Nitix raises the bar in terms of stability, security, affordability and ease of use.
“PrimaJava understands the importance of messaging, collaboration, backup, security-enhanced Internet access and protected data storage, all of which are encompassed in Nitix,” says Lavesh M. Samtani, PrimaJava’s managing director.
Another product on show at the stand is Bindview, a business policy, IT security and directory management software. The solution is designed to help companies monitor compliance with IT policies across the organisation.
“We believe there is a huge awareness that needs to be created in this region for security and we would like to exhibit our expertise here,” enthuses Samtani.
PrimaJava will be hosting seminars in room Dubai D on October 5 entitled ‘Autonomic Computing on LINUX for SMBs’ and ‘Is Your Corporate Network Safe?’
