Sony Business Middle East and Africa (MEA) is targeting the education and professional sectors with the latest addition to its wide range of ultra-compact LCD projectors, the VPL-ES1. Sony claims the VPL-ES1 offers value for money, which can be used equally as a versatile, easy to use, business communications tool or as a state-of-the-art video projection system for home or office entertainment.”Sony Business Middle East’s objective is to bring best of breed business communication solutions to the region, to revolutionize the ways businesses communicate both internally and externally,” said Heidi Rohm-Hurford, marketing manager, Sony Business MEA. “With the VPL-ES1, there is no longer a need to compromise quality for cost efficiency. This comes as a result of Sony Business’ understanding of greater demand for high quality projectors that meet company budgets.”The Sony VPL-ES1 projector is described as a user friendly, easy to operate all-round projector, developed with the diverse visual communication needs of small to mid-sized presentation environments in mind. Ideal for ‘on the go’ presentations the VPL-ES1 delivers high quality presentation performance, and can display PC data using a notebook or video. Features include a brightness of 1500 ANSI Lumens and SVGA resolution. Sony VPL-ES1 comes with a 3 year warranty, as is the case with all Sony projectors, as well as a 2000 hr or one year (whichever is reached first) warranty on the lamp. “Nowadays, projectors are no longer a luxury, they have become an integral part of the way businesses and institutions communicate as they greatly enhance the professional delivery of any presentation. Electronic presentations improve interaction with the audience, providing a more effective medium to illustrate business concepts and interactive lessons,” added Rohm-Hurford.The Sony VPL-ES1 follows the recent launch of the VPL-EX1 entry-level projector, which was also designed for small to medium size presentation environments and features a native resolution of XGA for users that require high resolution presentations. Both the VPL-ES1 (retail value approx US$1290) and the VPL-EX1 (retail value US$1970) are currently available in the Middle East market.
