Currently, an army helicopter has been sent as part of rescue efforts.

The children were reportedly travelling to school on a mountain, when the cable car broke down halfway through the journey. One of the children reportedly fainted out of fear as well.
However, rescue teams were unable to reach the cable car in due time due to its height and terrain, according to reports by Pakistan’s Dawn News.
“For God’s sake help us,” Gulfraz, a resident stuck in the cable car, told Pakistan television channel Geo News via phone. He also confirmed eight people were on board.
At least 150 students use the cable car, which is run privately by local organisations, every day to go to school, as per local reports. There are no bridges in the area.
