Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum has introduced the ‘Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme’, offering support for Emirati families in Dubai through financial, social, and educational initiatives.
“Strong families are essential to create a better future. We are committed to fulfilling the aspirations of every Emirati family in Dubai, ensuring their lasting happiness and stability while empowering them to nurture future generations who can shape a brighter tomorrow,” Sheikha Hind said.
The programme, which aligns with Dubai Social Agenda 33, aims to double Emirati families in Dubai by 2033, according to a statement by the Dubai Media Office.
New Dubai Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme offers marriage, housing benefits
Phase one introduces changes to government sector employment, including a 10-day paid marriage leave and Friday remote work options for mothers in their first year after maternity leave.
Housing support includes reduced monthly premiums for Dubai Weddings programme beneficiaries to AED3,333, provided their monthly income does not exceed AED30,000.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment will prioritise ready-made housing for these beneficiaries.

The programme features training initiatives including ‘Start it Right’, which has benefited 1,013 individuals, while 208 received financial support.
A financial literacy course helps couples manage resources, while the ‘How to Build Your Home’ programme, in partnership with New Economy Academy, provides housing guidance.
Benefits apply to new Dubai Weddings programme members from January 4, 2025. Housing benefit applications must be submitted within one year of joining the programme.
