Rescue is underway for 25 worshippers trapped in a well underground after the floor of a temple in Madhya Pradesh, caved in on Thursday, according to several reports.
The floor was a cover for the water source in an area of Indore. Footage circulating on social media shows authorities and others within the temple, attempting to rescue those trapped under using ropes and ladders.
The area that caved in, as seen in the video, is considerably large and mangled metal bars can be seen caving downwards.
