The Qatar moon-sighting committee has invited all Muslims in the country to sight the crescent of the month of Ramadan on Sunday evening, March 10, 2024.
The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs called on all Muslims in the State of Qatar to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan the evening of Sunday, the 29th of the month of Shaban of the year 1445 AH, corresponding to the 10th of March 2024.
The committee called on anyone who sees the crescent moon to come to its headquarters located in the building of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Dafna Towers area to give their testimony, the committee will hold its meeting immediately after the sunset prayer.

Ramadan is a significant month in the Islamic calendar, observed by millions of Muslims around the world with fasting, prayer, and charitable acts.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. With 12 months and either 354 or 355 days in the Islamic year the corresponding date is slightly different each year.
Ramadan 2024 will only officially begin when a moon-sighting committee confirms it has seen the crescent moon.
