UAE announces AED690m payments to citizens to ‘elevate the overall level of happiness’

The UAE’s General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has announced it will make  pension payments sooner than expected during the second quarter of 2023.

The UAE pension authority said it would make pension payments early “in order to elevate the overall level of happiness for its customers” and in celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

GPSSA said that the April 2023 pensions will be paid as early as Tuesday, April 18, and May pensions will be paid on Friday, May 26.

June pensions will be paid on Friday, June 23.

The Pension Authority pays diligent attention to the lives of its customers in par with the government’s continuous humanitarian and social acts.

Pensions for March 2023 amount to AED690m demonstrating an evident increase of AED46m in comparison to March 2022, during which the value of disbursed pensions amounted to AED644m
