Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group, the integrated trade, logistics, and industrial hub of the UAE capital, will soon have a dedicated Metal Park.
The ground-breaking ceremony of the 450,000 square metres of Metal Park, owned by Metal Park Investment ME Ltd, was held recently. The park will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to handle all kinds of metallurgical activities and will support storage and handling, processing, and fabrication activities. It also offers access to research and development amenities, rental office space, as well as financial services in one single location.
All Metal Park Investment clients will be able to adapt to market demand without infrastructure constraints. Apart from the facilities, these companies will be able to reduce their operating costs as they don’t have to spend on the overheads that traditional businesses in the sector would.
All this comes over and above the unbeatable location of KEZAD and its logistic support. Owing to its proximity to the deep-water Khalifa Port, and its strategic location at the crossroads between East and West, the Metal Park provides an ideal platform for the metal industry to serve the increasing number of infrastructure and industrial development projects in the Middle East and African markets.
