Dubai’s Amanat Holdings launches healthcare division

Dubai’s Amanat Holdings has expanded into healthcare with the launch of – Amanat Healthcare. The platform will consolidate the company’s healthcare assets on a single platform with an expected capacity of over 1,000 operational beds in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The healthcare and education investment firm is looking to create further value creation options including organic and inorganic opportunities, a potential IPO and combinations with other synergistic assets.

At Amanat, our fundamental strength is creating value for stakeholders, and we have invested in assets, expertise and knowledge, to support our governments’ efforts in delivering modern and efficient healthcare that will enhance the quality of life for our population and concurrently deliver value to shareholders,” said the company’s Chairman, Hamad Alshamsi.

“The private healthcare market in the region continues to grow strongly, underpinned by favourable demographic and population trends in addition to a supportive government and regulatory environment designed to develop the sector to meet the growing needs of the population,” said the company’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, John Ireland.
