Arada has announced the completion of the first homes at Masaar, the megaproject located in the Suyoh district of Sharjah.

The handover process for all 430 homes in the Sendian district has commenced, marking a significant milestone in the development of this new community.

The homes at Sendian encompass a range of sizes, from two-bedroom townhouses to five-bedroom Sendian Park Villas.

Each property is equipped with smart home features and is conveniently situated near the leisure and entertainment zone at the heart of Masaar.

“Ever since its launch, Masaar has been one of the bestselling projects in the UAE, with buyers drawn to its beautiful woodlands, nature-inspired architecture, and world-class amenities. We promised that Masaar would set a new standard of living for both Sharjah and the UAE, and today we are immensely proud to be able to deliver on that promise, welcoming the first homeowners into this wonderful community,” HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice Chairman of Arada said.

The first phase of Masaar was executed by Intermass and Kharafi, serving as the main contractors, while Dewan Architects provided design and supervision consultancy services.

Scheduled for full completion by the end of 2026, Masaar encompasses a master plan spanning 19 million square feet, comprising 3,000 villas and townhouses.

The development is divided into six gated districts interconnected by Masaar’s distinctive feature, a lushly landscaped and pedestrian-friendly “green spine” adorned with 50,000 trees.

Construction is currently underway for the second and third phases of Masaar, which will consist of 986 homes and are expected to be finished by the end of 2024.

The contracts for the remaining three phases of Masaar will also be awarded before the year’s end.

Masaar’s new residents can already explore a range of completed facilities. The community’s central precinct, inaugurated in September 2022 by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, offers an impressive array of family-friendly entertainment, sports, and dining attractions.

These include the Zad food truck district, a skatepark, a children’s adventure playground, and an events space.

Arada’s Masaar Track

In November of the previous year, Arada unveiled Masaar Track, a 6.6-kilometre cycling circuit that winds through the woodlands surrounding the master community.

Designed with both amateur and professional cyclists in mind, Masaar Track features three well-lit underpasses and one bridge, providing a safe and enjoyable cycling experience for enthusiasts.

The track is accessible 24 hours a day and includes The Loop, a cycling hub offering bike services, repairs, rentals, cycling kits, and an onsite café.

Strategically located in the up-and-coming Suyoh district, Masaar benefits from its proximity to Tilal City, the Sharjah Mosque, and Arada’s first project, Nasma Residences.

The community enjoys easy access to Emirates Road and Mleiha Road, and is conveniently situated a 15-minute drive from Sharjah International Airport and a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
