Espeo Blockchain, a consulting brand of Espeo Software, has picked Dubai to set up an office, citing the region’s growth potential and interest in blockchain technology.

Dubai joins Zug, Poznan, San Francisco and Helsinki as a hub of activity for Espeo Blockchain.

The company said it picked Dubai, which has already become one of the top spots for blockchain entrepreneurship, for its friendly attitude towards cryptocurrencies and its government personally investing in bringing new technologies to its citizens.

However, it added that it aims to fill the gap of blockchain professionals in the region who can advise on blockchain or develop blockchain solutions.

It said companies and government agencies in the region are currencly either left to seek talent elsewhere or turn to the very few local providers in the space.

“We’re planning to change that, giving the public access to not only blockchain developers, but advisors helping to make the right decisions for a particular use case,” said Mickael Costache, MENA regional director.

He said Espeo Blockchain has a solid track record for complex blockchain products.

Espeo Blockchain is the blockchain consulting brand of Espeo Software, a software company with 10 years of experience.
