Muslims invited to sample virtual world

Lifestyle website Muxlim.com launches beta version of ‘Muxlim Pal’ for its members

A virtual world for Muslims has just been launched by Muxlim.com – a global Islamic social media website that claims to reach tens of millions of visitors from more than 190 countries.

Muxlim Pal is described as the first ‘Muslim virtual world providing a new kind of family friendly social online environment for your entertainment’.

Available through free registration, members can personalise their own avatar’s look, interact with others in the virtual environment, shop and gift items, decorate their own room and visit different places.

Currently in its beta phase, the creators of Muxlim Pal will work on improving features and using feedback from members to grow and develop the service.

While Muxlim.com is aimed at Muslims who live in Western countries, it’s also quite popular with people from the Arab world. Presently, there are more than 300 members from the United Arab Emirates and nearly 400 from Saudi Arabia.
