Pythian Group to capitalise on Middle East expansion

Database administration service provider the Pythian Group will be exhibiting at GITEX Technology Week for the first time since opening its Dubai office earlier this year.

Database administration service provider the Pythian Group will be exhibiting at GITEX Technology Week for the first time since opening its Dubai office earlier this year.

“With several marquee clients in the region, the momentum and demand for our services is growing rapidly,” claims Martin Wisniewski, VP of sales with the Pythian Group.

“Although we have exhibited at GITEX previously, this year’s show marks the first time we’ve done so since we established our regional headquarters in Dubai.”

Wisniewski says the company is primarily looking to raise the profile of its brand and promote its suite of services available to Middle East customers at GITEX Technology Week.

“We are very well known internationally, having provided production engineering service support to multinational companies including AXA, CBS, MDS, Tower Automotive, Vale INCO (CRVD), and Western Union,” he says.

Pythian’s service model does not limit the type of support clients can seek from the company’s staff and also allows customers to shift work in-house or outsource it to other vendors.

“Our blended insourced-outsourced model means no loss of internal expertise, guaranteeing succession planning,” says Wisniewski.

“The MENA region is of major strategic importance to our business,” explains Wisniewski. “We are investing heavily to ensure the quality of our work locally is as timely and responsive as the services we currently offer to our global clients.”

In addition to its Dubai base, the Pythian Group operates offices in North America, Europe, Australia, India and South America.
