Passengers flying out of Qatar’s Hamad International Airport have been told to arrive early and check in online to avoid delays during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
As the Eid Al Fitr travel period approaches, Hamad International Airport is fully prepared to facilitate a seamless travel experience for departing and arriving passengers to meet the expected increase in travel traffic during this period.
Travel tips for a smooth journey include early check-in by checking in online and arrive at the airport at least three hours before the flight.

Passengers are advised to check with their airline for online check-in options to streamline their journey.
Qatar Airways offers early check-in for economy passengers from 12 to four hours before departure, until April 5, 11.59pm, excluding US and Canada flights.
Passengers using early check-in get a 10 per cent discount at Qatar Duty Free stores.
Self-check-in and bag-drop by utilising the self-service kiosks to check-in, print boarding passes, and tag bags. Drop them off at the bag-drop counters before proceeding to border control, in addition to e-gates.
Passengers are reminded that baggage allowances and weight restrictions will be strictly enforced by airlines. Non-standard or oversized luggage is discouraged. A baggage repack area is available in the departure hall with luggage weighing machines to assist passengers.
The airport called for the use of the dedicated parking facilities for quick drop-offs, pick-ups, and short stays, as well as the avoidance of leaving vehicles unattended at the curbside.
