The much-awaited third annual Gault&Millau UAE Guide is set to be released on January 31, 2024, following a glamorous gala dinner and awards ceremony at the prestigious Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
After an extensive six-month period of anonymous visits by Gault&Millau’s team of investigators, below is the list of restaurants that have made it into the Guide.
The investigations covered over 200 restaurants across the UAE, including those featured in the 2022 Guide, establishments that narrowly missed inclusion last year, and new openings.
Out of these thorough examinations, a total of 137 restaurants have successfully secured a place in the highly esteemed Gault&Millau UAE 2024 Guide.
Among the selected establishments, 18 are located in Abu Dhabi, while Dubai boasts an impressive 119 entries.
Gault&Millau’s investigators meticulously seek out exceptional fine dining experiences. They pay special attention to chef-led establishments, where culinary experts use the finest ingredients to craft menus that exude personality and demonstrate exceptional technical prowess.
Other factors that contribute to a positive evaluation include well-trained and personable service teams, thoughtfully curated wine, champagne, and beverage menus, as well as a commitment to sustainability.
