The Riyadh Municipality has allocated 39 sites throughout the region to watch the World Cup events and the Saudi national team’s matches, amid continued celebrations across the country over the team’s surprising 2-1 victory over mighty Argentina in the first round.
Public parks and provincial centers designated for local events, besides municipal halls, squares and halls were being prepared to be temporary zones for watching the World Cup.
The municipality said it was ready to receive the public in the allocated zones for broadcasting the 2022 World Cup and to support Saudi Arabia’s team participating in the 2022 World Cup.
