A high-level European women trade mission is on a visit to Sharjah to explore new avenues of cooperation.
The women’s association is also to utilise the visit to motivate women and entrepreneurs to start their own businesses to support various economic sectors in their respective countries.
The visiting European Women Association, represented by trade missions from Belgium, Britain and Romania, held a meeting with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Monday.
Raghda Hamad Omran, board member of SCCI, told the delegates that the chamber was keen on holding regular meetings with the Association to develop a platform that offers women and business owners in Sharjah all types of support throughout their entrepreneurial journeys and also for exchange of views and experiences.
The European women delegation comprised prominent businesswomen in the commercial services, healthcare, information technology, financial technology, education, and legal services industries.
