InstaShop launches new on-demand flower delivery service in Dubai

The promising new service is seeing an 80% increase in orders per month following soft launch

InstaShop launches new on-demand flower delivery service in Dubai

InstaShop is making fast flower delivery possible, giving its users the opportunity to send flowers anywhere in the emirate within only three hours.

InstaShop, the largest on-demand grocery delivery marketplace in the MENA region, has announced the launch of their new flower delivery service.

Partnering with the most well-known flower shops in Dubai such as Flowers.ae, Royal Flowers, Blush Petals and more, InstaShop is making fast flower delivery possible, giving its users the opportunity to send flowers anywhere in the emirate within only three hours.

The new service aims to revolutionise flower delivery, following the company’s strategy of tapping into its audience’s high demand for convenience. In this context, InstaShop in 2019 has launched a number of new services beyond groceries, which include the delivery of over-the-counter pharmacy products, pet care and butchery products, fresh produce and the newly launched ethnic food & specialty shops.

The service includes a large selection of premium flower compositions, colorful bouquets, and a variety of flowers types ranging from roses, lilies, tulips and much more, while certain flower partners also offer combo products for special occasions that include chocolates and cakes. Worth noting that the service also provides the option to send a personalised message on a card along with the flowers, for that extra special touch that is needed in these occasions.

Ioanna Angelidaki, CMO and co-founder, said: “It always seemed to me that the process of sending flowers to someone you care about, has been rather complex and tedious until now. We wanted to change that and offer our users an alternative and that’s exactly what we did; with InstaShop, sending flowers is possible in just a few taps. It has never been easier to make someone happy.”

InstaShop is experiencing exponential growth in the new flower delivery service since it’s soft launch in November, particularly of hand bouquets and box arrangements. Even with this high level of growth and launch of the new services, InstaShop remains true to the basis of ease and convenience, striving every day to offer the best customer service.

John Tsioris, the CEO and co-founder, added: “When it comes to digital shopping, the demand for convenience is the highest it's ever been. By bringing to life a reliable on-demand service for groceries, medicines, pet care, butchery, flowers and more, all under a single roof, we are filling a huge gap in the market, while providing customers with a one-stop solution for their daily needs. There is a unique beauty in that, in just a few clicks and within a single application, users can have all these different products delivered to their home very fast."

The Dubai home-grown company has an ambitious vision for 2020 that further reinforces the mission of the UAE to be positioned as a regional and global centre for cutting-edge innovation and entrepreneurship.

Looking into the next steps, InstaShop is seizing new opportunities and expanding to other promising delivery services such as coffee and water delivery, while at the same time regional expansions will be taking place within the next year. The rising on-demand economy is absolutely changing our lives for the better.
