Irish singer Imelda May to play Dubai Opera

Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May is coming to play Dubai Opera in November.

The singer shot to fame with her rockabilly style of music, with hits like ‘Johnny Got a Boom Boom’ and ‘Big Bad Handsome Man’ from the award-winning album Love Tattoo.

She was discovered by Jools Holland, who asked Imelda to support him on tour, Imelda has gone on to perform alongside legendary artists including Lou Reed, Bono and Smokey Robinson.

Imelda has since changed her style and appearance and moved towards soft rock and acoustic style with her latest album Life Love Flesh Blood.

The Dubliner plays Dubai Opera on November 2. Tickets are now on sale at Dubai Opera. There’s an early bird offer 20% off before 10 June 2018, with prices starting at only AED 120.
