Saudi Arabia has recently launched six additional visa categories with the aim of attracting investors and skilled individuals to the country.

These new visa options, known as “premium residency products,” specifically target individuals who own real estate, entrepreneurs, and exceptionally talented individuals who are considering relocating to Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Alkassabi, the Chairman of the Board of the Premium Residency Centre, made this announcement in alignment with the vision of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

There are six new Premium Residency options, which aims to advance the kingdom’s objectives. These include:

  • Special Talent Residency
  • Gifted Residency
  • Investor Residency
  • Entrepreneur Residency
  • Real Estate Owner Residency
  • Limited Duration and Unlimited Duration Residency

Limited Duration and Unlimited Duration Residency: How to apply for Saudi Arabia Premium Residency Visa

This offering is designed for individuals looking for Permanent or Annual Residency in Saudi Arabia.

The Limited Duration and Unlimited Duration Premium Residency options provide a range of benefits that align with the desired lifestyle in Saudi Arabia. These products reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to creating a welcoming and progressive community.

According to the official Premium Residency website, here is the eligibility criteria to become a premium visa holder under the Limited Duration and Unlimited Duration category:

  • Providing proof of the applicant’s financial capability, however, all conditions are subject to change.

The Limited Duration Premium Residency offers a fixed-term residency ranging from one year up to five years, renewable, with a one-time fee of SAR100,000 (AED97,928.85 approximately) for each year, which decreases by 2 percent annually on an accumulative basis for applications exceeding one year.

On the other hand, the Unlimited Duration Premium Residency provides permanent residency for a one-time fee of SAR800,000 (AED783430.81 approximately).

Benefits include:

  1. Reside in Saudi with family members, including parents, spouses, and children under 25.
  2. Flexibility to move from one establishment to another.
  3. Exemption from the fees imposed on expats and their dependents and companions.
  4. Exit and return to Saudi for the premium residency holder and their family members without requiring a visa.
  5. The entitlement to obtain visit visas for relatives.
  6. Use tracks dedicated to citizens at airports.
  7. The entitlement to work in the private sector and move between establishments applies to the husband, wife, and dependents, including the daughters’ and sons’ dependents.
  8. Conducting business under the guidelines of The Investment Law.
  9. Own and usufruct real estate.
